As a result, in comparison with surface water, deep seawater contains a high amount of inorganic nutrients including nitrogen and phosphorus, which are consumed by phytoplankton.\u00a0<br \/> The balance of minerals is also favorable.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"column3\"><div class=\"panel\"><h2 class=\"title\"><b>Purity<\/b><\/h2><p>The amount of organic matter and bacteria in deep seawater is considerably less than in surface water.
